Dr. Julian and his team are an amazing group of people. I have been bringing my pets here for almost 5 years and I will never take my pets anywhere else. This practice makes the animal the priority first, they educate the pet owners so you know what the Doctor is talking about and they help you understand what might be going on with your pet and your best course of action. I LOVE that about this clinic, it doesn’t feel like it’s about the money it actually feels like it is about the well being of your animal/s health and safety.

Contact Us

If your pet has been injured or has an urgent health emergency, stay calm and call our practice right away at (404) 919-5150.

Follow Instructions

Follow whatever instructions Dr. Peckich may give you over the phone. If your pet swallowed poison, Dr. Peckich may suggest inducing vomiting. If your pet swallowed a large object and it is blocking their throat, Dr. Peckich may suggest using your fingers to dislodge the object to clear the airway.

Stay Calm While Driving

Our staff will give you as much detailed information as possible until you see us for medical treatment. If immediate medical treatment is necessary, you must stay calm while en route to our practice. An accident would cause a further delay in treatment and possible injuries to you and your pet.

Stick to the Aftercare

In some cases, like a dog park injury or an infection, follow-up treatment and care may be needed. Be sure to follow our vet's instructions on cleaning bandages and giving antibiotics to ensure your pet heals safely and effectively.

Featured Emergency Services We Offer

Marietta Vet Clinic offers a wide range of animal emergency services in order to help pets in need of comfort and care. Some of these emergency medical care services include:

Accidents and Physical Trauma

If your pet was struck by a car, involved in a fight with another animal, or injured in some other way, our team can mend wounds and help restore your pet's quality of life.

Poison and Toxin Ingestion

When pets eat foods or ingest potentially dangerous chemicals, we can help pet owners induce vomiting and ensure their pet undergoes a thorough exam and medical treatment.

Acute Renal Failure

If you notice your pet is excessively thirsty, lethargic, and has a poor appetite, it could be suffering from acute renal (kidney) failure. We can perform several diagnostic tests and therapies to determine the cause of the problem and normalize levels of potassium and other electrolytes in the body.

Acute Pancreatitis

Acute pancreatitis causes rapid inflammation of the pancreas due to the digestive chemicals being activated inside the pancreas instead of the intestine. We offer several treatment options to help normalize levels. Some pets will need to be put on insulin and a proper diet following care.

Diagnosing Foreign Bodies

If your pet has swallowed a large or inedible object, we can perform X-rays to identify the digestive obstruction. From there, we can then determine the safest way to remove this item.

Urination and Defecation Problems

Whether it's diarrhea and incontinence or constipation and urinary retention, we will work tirelessly to diagnose the underlying condition and restore bowel and bladder function.

Microchip Check for Lost Pets

Whenever a good samaritan brings in an animal they've found, we make sure to run a microchip check. We can treat lost pets that are sick or injured, identify them, and reunite them with their owners.

A Comprehensive List of Emergency Services Our Team Can Help with the Following Issues:

  • Trauma - Dog Fights, Car Wrecks, Injuries
