Julian Peckich DVM

Dr. Peckich was raised in Cobb County, graduating from the local McEachern High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Peckich attended St. Matthews University School of Veterinary Medicine, and North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine for clinical rotations. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Dr. Peckich's family is crazy about pets. Dr. Peckich, himself currently lives with Kylo, a German Shepherd, while his close family has Coco and Mimi the Pomeranians, Jojo the Great Dane, Chi Chi the Chihuahua, Princess the Dingo, Honey Bear the Cur, Willie the Hound and last but not least, Spirit the Draft Horse. Seven out of 9 are rescues, all spayed, neutered, vaccinated or given wellness care at the vet clinic. It's Dr. Peckich's big heart for animals that makes him a special vet. "We not just an animal clinic that treats family pets, we're a clinic that see's every pet as a part of our animal family," says Dr. Peckich.
Dr. Peckich and team are happy to serve the Marietta, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Acworth, Dallas, Hiram, and Vinings, GA cities and of course West Cobb.
Jesse McInnis - Vet Tech
Jesse is our full time vet tech wielding over 10+ years experience in the Veterinary field and a proud USAR Military Veteran. He is certified in Soft Tissue Ultrasonography (i.e. full abdomen, FAST and BLUE). With an unrelenting passion for his field, Jesse will soon be certified in general practice anesthesia and analgesia, echocardiography, and is working to become an Associate of the ACVAA (American College of Veterinary Anesthesia). Starting this fall, Jesse will be an associate of the ACVR (American College of Veterinary Radiology).
His many roles around the clinic include obtaining diagnostic images such as ultrasounds and radiographs, consulting the images with the doctor, performing and monitoring patient vitals (heart rate, SPO2, blood pressure, EKG, etc.) while under anesthesia for surgical patients of all breeds, health conditions and ages, as well as performing nerve blocks and managing patients with chronic pain. When not performing these duties, he assists the doctor with a variety of medical procedures that day requires.
Like any true Ravenclaw, Jesse enjoys continued education, learning about all things anesthesia/analgesia, clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging and caring for his Boston Terrier, Kaeko, his Jenday Conure, Beanie, and his cat, Baxter. They, along with his fiancé, Anthony Lopez, fully support Jesse and his drive, hardworking mentality, positive and outgoing personality, passion for helping animals and humans alike while making sure you leave with a smile on your face.
Jourdan Reece - Vet Tech
Jourdan is our registered veterinary technician and is a graduate of Young Harris College, Kennesaw State University, and Gwinnett Technical College. Before returning to the private practice setting, she worked for St. Joseph's Translational Research Institute at Georgia Tech for 5 years serving as a veterinary entity for all cardiovascular/arterial surgical protocols and procedures. With experience in small animal dentistry, laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging, she enjoys many aspects of private practice. At home, this Ravenclaw spends her free time supporting her son's team at the baseball field, as well as watching Star Wars.
Leigha Chapman - Office Manager
Leigha is Marietta Vet Clinic's office manager and accountant that's happy to help pet owners in anyway. Marietta Vet Clinic could not survive without Leigha's phenomenal accounting skills and ability to keep the office running smoothly. She's happy to schedule appointments, check pets in and answer any questions you may have concerning your pet. Here at Marietta Vet Clinic, our front staff is happy to help with all your pets needs.
Kaelyn Bouse - Front Desk Coordinator
Kaelyn is Marietta Vet Clinic's front desk coordinator. She was raised in Paulding County, and graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Kaelyn coordinates the day to day operations at the clinic to ensure every pet receives optimal care. She’s happy to assist in any way possible. In Kaelyn’s spare time she enjoys spending her days with her German Shepherd, Kylo.
